Funding Announced for Construction of Schools Near Nightingale Quarter

An investment of £1.5m has been approved by D2N2 towards the construction of a primary and nursery school near the site of the Nightingale Quarter in Derby.

The planned facility will have capacity for over 300 primary school children and almost 40 nursey school children.

The new schools are being built to serve the new homes built as part of the Nightingale Quarter and a neighbouring development.
