It’s full steam ahead for Wavensmere Homes in 2022
A busy start to the near year for Wavensmere Homes from prepping for new development launches to welcoming three new starters.
WELCOME
As Wavensmere Homes continues to expand, it’s essential to grow the team to ensure high-quality service in every aspect of our business.
With this, we warmly welcome three new members to Wavensmere Homes…
Stephen Greenwood, who is joining as our new Finishing Foreman for Strutt House at Nightingale Quarter, Derby. Stephen has a fantastic array of experience in the field of delivery and quality control and has already made a great start on site along with building strong relationships with all contractors and supervisors.
David Watson joins as a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will be heavily involved in the day to day commercial management of our new sites. David joins the team with 20 years of experience in quantity surveying. Having overseen the commercial management of inner-city regeneration projects alongside traditional housing schemes, David possesses an extensive working knowledge of the residential housing sector. Companies include NU Living, Berkeley Homes and Linden Homes.
And finally, we welcome Ollie Smith as Sales Co-Ordinator to support the sales department. Ollie brings with him a wealth of sales and marketing experience from a well-known public housing provider and will be supporting the team at Wavensmere Homes in all aspects of the sales function.
NEW DEVELOPMENTS
Two new developments, Belgrave Village and Barrelmans Point, have officially been announced and are already enjoying a flurry of early interest amongst prospective homeowners.
In joint-venture with The Galliard and Apsley Partnership, Belgrave Village is the latest exciting new home development coming to Birmingham. Located just 1 mile from the Bullring and Grand Central, residents can enjoy living amongst green open space but with the perks of a city centre on their doorstep. In partnership with Galliard Homes, Barrelmans Point is located on the historic former HMS Ganges training base offering nearly 300 coastal homes to the Shotley Peninsula. Described as one of the most ‘exciting and ambitious’ developments to be launched by the partners, Barrelmans Point is set to reanimate the history of HMS Ganges through the restoration of several of its Grade II listed assets. Progress to landmark development, Nightingale Quarter, continues to meet crucial construction milestones and fantastic sales in 2022.
Pepper Pot North
Brickwork restoration works to the second Pepperpot are now nearing completion and works to the copula’s will commence over the coming weeks.
Strutt House
Strutt House framework will be completed in the next two weeks whilst works internally progress in line with the programme.
Phase 1
All houses in phase 1 are now completed and the last few occupations are expected over the course of February.
After a wonderful few months of sales, we are pleased to announce that all of phase 3 houses are now sold out, as are the 140 apartments in Strutt House.
