Wavensmere Homes Continue to Expand

Wavensmere Homes hire Ben Marsden as Technical Manager.

Midlands based property developers, Wavensmere Homes, continue to grow its team by welcoming an additional Technical Manager, Ben Marsden. This news follows its recent announcement that Ross Oates was appointed as the newly created Project Director. This expansion of employees for the company comes after the success of its 18.5-acre Nightingale Quarter development that’s located in Derby city centre, with more projects on the horizon.

Ben brings with him nearly 15 years of experience working within a professional environment, with roles in consultancy, residential development, national house building and main contracting. Most recently, Ben has been heading up the technical team on Berkeley St. Joseph’s Snow Hill Wharf scheme, in Birmingham, working on the post planning technical function. Prior to this, Ben has worked for Berkley South East London, Bouygues, Hackett & James and Persimmon Homes.  

As Technical Manager, Ben will be overseeing all aspects of projects to ensure the quality is of Wavensmere Homes standards, as well as making strategic decisions across the field. Ross says, “It is an exciting time to be joining the award-winning team at Wavensmere Homes. They are an ambitious, forward thinking company with a fantastic reputation for placemaking and providing quality homes. There are some exciting projects in the pipeline which I am looking forward to being a part of, using my experience to have a positive influence and help shape future developments.”

Ben has a degree in Architectural Design Technology.
