WINNERS OF DEAL OF THE YEAR 2020
Wavensmere Homes have been awarded the Property Deal of the Year 2020.
We are delighted to announce that we have won Insider’s Deal of the Year 2020 award for Nightingale Quarter.
The award, which is organised by Insider, is fantastic recognition for all the hard work that’s been put in. It’s a truly exciting scheme which has seen the regeneration of the old Derby Royal Infirmary that stood vacant for many years.
Managing Director James Dickens says: ‘We are delighted to have won Insider’s Deal of the Year 2020 award. It wouldn’t be possible without the support of Derby City Council, local residents and Derby stakeholders. We very much look forward to seeing the continued progression of the site’.
Commenting on the Deal of the Year winners, judges said: “We have to take our hats off to the team behind this. The fact they’d found a solution to get one of the biggest regeneration sites in the UK away when many previous attempts had failed, was a real achievement.”
About Nightingale Quarter
The Nightingale Quarter stands on what was the Derby Royal Infirmary, which dates back to the 1800’s. We are thrilled to be restoring the Pepper-Pot buildings that will remain key historical features onsite.
The site will offer nearly 800 new homes for the city of Derby. Which is almost 50% of the councils promise to deliver 1,900 new houses by 2030.
The development will also include a massive six acres of parkland and open green space. Including a children’s play area, open-air gym facilities and cycle routes.
The first phase of the 18-acre Nightingale Quarter development consists of 125 properties, almost all of which have been sold. Read more about the latest news here.
