Wavensmere Crowned Urban and City Living Developer of the Year at the 2025 Insider Midlands Residential Awards
Wavensmere Homes was crowned Urban and City Living Developer of the Year at the 2025 Insider Midlands Residential Awards.
The prestigious regional industry event was held at Edgbaston Stadium and attended by over 500 members of the residential property and professional services community. Compered by BBC TV and radio presenter Jason Mohammad, the annual celebration of excellence saw a total of 16 awards presented to company teams, partnerships, and individuals.
Wavensmere Homes received the prestigious Urban and City Living Developer of the Year accolade in recognition of its £175m Nightingale Quarter development and £75m Friar Gate Goods Yard redevelopment in Derby city centre, the £112m Belgrave Village scheme in central Birmingham, and the £150m Wolverhampton Canalside South project, where work started on site earlier this year.
The Edgbaston-headquartered housebuilding firm and its associated special purpose vehicles (SPVs) completed 476 houses and apartments during 2024, achieving a turnover of £105m for its financial year, ending 31st December. Development land in the process of being secured is set to deliver 1,500 new homes.
