Nightingale Quarter Show Home Launch
The Nightingale Quarter Show Home launch has arrived…
The highly anticipated Nightingale Quarter show home launches to the public this weekend – 15th and 16th May.
Located off the London Road in Derby city centre, the three-bedroom terraced home, ‘The Lloyd’, is available to view by appointment only.
Managing Director of Wavensmere Homes, James Dickens, says, ‘We are delighted to announce the official opening of our show homes on the 15th and 16th of May. It’s been a fantastic year of progress for Nightingale Quarter which has also seen the restoration of one of the Victorian Pepper Pot buildings. Phase One has seen sell out success with Phase Two expected to follow very soon. We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in the development so far.”
The 18.5-acre site, which was once home to the Derby Royal Infirmary, is being transformed into 796 new homes. Other facilities include cycle paths, outdoor gym and children’s play area as well as six acres of green open space.
The award-winning development has also been shortlisted for this year’s Insider Media Placemaking Project of the Year.
Andy Richardson, managing director at Edward Thomas Interiors comments:
“The Lloyd show home at Nightingale Quarter was designed with a modern and fresh feel to appeal to Wavensmere Homes’ key demographic – young families, young professionals and first-time buyers. Featuring an emerald green and teal colour palette, this open-plan, three-bedroom property has plenty to offer. The main kitchen/living/dining room has space for a large corner sofa, dining table and home working station, and we’ve styled this area with walnut furniture and geometric print fabrics to inspire house hunters. Upstairs, the bedrooms follow this aspirational theme, mirrored wardrobes and gold accent lighting are included to create a luxurious finish. Finally, in the child’s bedroom, we’ve made some playful references to Derby’s Rolls Royce pedigree with a jet engine and aeroplane inspired artwork and accessories.”
Viewings are by appointment only with limited slots available.
