Strutt House April Update

Construction Update

Updating our future homeowners is imperative to our build programme to keep them in the loop on the progress of their new apartment.

Last week, we enjoyed a great site visit to the site to see the progress. Please read the full construction report below.

Works at Strutt House continue to progress well and in line with the key programmed dates.

Works to the roof are now complete and all windows are installed which means that all works inside the building can continue regardless of the weather.  The brickwork to the façade has now reached the 3rd floor and continues to progress well in line with the planned dates which has been aided by the dry weather we have had throughout April.

First fix mechanical and electrical works are completed to the first 50 apartments and plastering has commenced.  There are 15 apartments currently plastered.  Second fix works along with wall tiling have just started in the plastered plots and will continue as more plots are plastered on a weekly basis.

Works on the sprinkler systems and low voltage electrical supplies in the communal areas have now started and will continue over the coming few months.

Regular progress meetings continue to be attended and chaired by ourselves and include architects, designers, health and safety advisors and structural engineers with a view to ensure a close working relationship is being maintained throughout the project.
