Strutt House November Construction Update

Last week we enjoyed a successful site visit to our Derby development, Nightingale Quarter, to see the latest November construction update

Significant progress is being made to Strutt House at Nightingale Quarter.

Here is a note from our Construction Director, Craig, to explain in full…

Works at Strutt House continue to progress well and in line with key programmed dates. All operations relating to the groundworks have now been completed and the steel frame erection is well underway. Construction works to the steel frame of the building are now complete to the lower ground and ground floor plots.

The site teams are 75% complete to the 1st-floor structure and continue to work sequentially up the building. The steel frame contractor is planned to be completed in January 2022 and then the roof of the building will start to be made watertight.

Windows have started to be installed and follow the steel frame construction from the lower ground floor.

Bricklayers are planned to start works to the external façade of the building over the next week or two and are planned to continue into March next year. Enabling works to the internals have started this week, with the main trades starting the internal fit-out of the building are planned for January 2022.

Regular progress meetings continue to be attended and chaired by ourselves and include architects, designers, health and safety advisors and structural engineers with a view to ensure a close working relationship is being maintained throughout the project.

I trust that you will find the above information informative and we will update you further of progress and planned works in due course.

We look forward to updating you further in December.
